If you haven't heard about Imagine Furever Ranch in Shawnee, KS, YOU are missing out! This senior dog rescue sits on almost four acres in western Shawnee. It is the home to senior dogs looking to find their furever homes! 

 

The vision of Imagine Furever Ranch is to provide an environment where people and animals flourish in an atmosphere filled with kindness, openness, and loving hearts. 

 

The Ranch has been officially opened for a little over a year and has provided both a place for people and pooches to find a place to come together. Throughout the year, there have been many events that bring the Shawnee and greater Kansas City community together.

 

Many of the dogs come from situations where families can no longer care for their dogs and they reach out for help. Other dogs come as transfers from other rescues that are full or do not have the ability to get dogs adopted quickly. 

 

This weekend, Stonebriar Farm in De Soto, KS served as the venue for the Annual Gala. This even featured items donated by local businesses that were featured in a silent and live auction by the amazing auctioneer, Paul Jones. Dinner and drinks were provided and enjoyed by all. In addition, Mick Shaffer and Eric Danielson provided some comedy relief for the evening. After the auction, music was provided by the Mikey Needleman Band. 

 

Drumroll please...the event raised over $30,000 which will go to helping more families and dogs.
